Great site! It’s such a fascinating look at building your own place. I applaud you.

We are thinking about possibly building, too, and I wanted to clarify on your total cost estimate. Is says total $ committed is about 218k. What is the overall budget you gave yourself? (from demolition of old property to finishing the new house – not including the sale of the property.)

Nice to see some artsy photos too – sometimes during the rush of construction it’s hard to step back and enjoy the process (or beauty in a house being taken apart)…

Eager to see more – there is a pretty big gap from those de-construction photos to the current webcam ;-)
